Materials that make the difference

At Biowaves, we strive for a conscious use of plastic and look for plastic-free, sustainable and natural alternatives wherever possible.

For our hard cases we use a biological plastic. This material is Free from toxins and plasticizers, does not emit any odors and is fully compostable thanks to an additive, leaving no microplastics behind.

We use recycled organic cotton for our straps and natural genuine leather for our covers.

We keep the amount of plastic in our products as low as possible and only use it when it offers real added value - for example, as a durable and tear-resistant nylon strap on our HangHub.

Packaging and shipping: less is more

Our packaging is as minimalist as possible – made from recycled and recyclable paper, which brings your purchase to you safely and in an environmentally friendly way.

For shipping, we use biodegradable materials such as bubble wrap made of PBAT and corn starch, which are 100% compostable.

With DHL GoGreen, we ship all orders climate-neutrally, thus reducing CO₂ emissions together. For example, we saved a whopping 240 kg of CO₂ in 2024.

Paperless

We use paper resources sparingly by not printing invoices or delivery notes. You will receive the invoice digitally via email.

Fair and sustainable returns

We don't generally include a return label with our shipments. 90% of these remain unused and end up in the trash. You can request a return label at any time via our online portal. We charge a flat fee of €4.80 for this service, which will be deducted from the credit note. This allows us to offer low-cost or even free shipping for all customers and distribute the cost of returns fairly and in a resource-efficient manner.

Our products are developed with meticulous attention to detail – from the precise fit to the pleasant feel of the material in your hand. At the same time, we focus on timeless and functional designs so you can use our products for a long time. We avoid short-lived trends and focus on versatility – like our flip cases, which also serve as wallets, or our HangHub, which offers you additional carrying options with our cotton straps.
